Where are you located?

Our family operates The Pencil Case Place from Fremantle, Western Australia.

 

Why should I buy from The Pencil Case Place?

Well we think there are many reasons!

• We hold all of our stock here in Australia, we can see and trial the quality before we decide whether or not to sell a product to you.  
• We can ship your product fast and with tracking.  
• We offer returns if you change your mind, plus ensure you will be refunded if your product is faulty.
• We're doing our best to reduce our waste.  We use compostable packaging wherever possible.  Smaller parcels are posted in Hero compostable packaging.  Currently larger packages are posted in regular packaging.  We also re-use bubble wrap, tissue and other supplies when protecting your products.  If the protective packaging looks a bit scruffy it's because it's been reused!

What if I don't like my product?

If you receive your product and it isn't everything you dreamed of, please let us know ASAP.  As long as it is still in its original condition with the packaging intact, you can return it and we will refund the purchase price minus shipping.  We would ask you please pay for the return shipping.  

If you'd like help returning the product at the best price, we can organise a shipping label for you to print.

Can you gift wrap?

Yes!  Add gift wrapping to your cart.  If you purchase wrapping, all the products in your order will be gift wrapped together unless otherwise specified.  If you need us to write a message on the gift tag please email the message to hello@thepencilcaseplace.com

Where are your Leaf Street Journals made?

All our Leaf Street products are designed here in Fremantle.  Gift tags and cards are printed in Australia and the UK.  Journals are manufactured in China.  Your journal bag is screen printed by hand in our home!

What is a Bullet Journal?

A Bullet Journal (or Dot Grid journal) is a journal that has dotted paper instead of lined or blank paper.  These provide a guide for all sorts of formatting.

Bullet journals can be used for many purposes.  Use it to keep track of appointments, meetings, notes, goals, monitor your moods and journal your thoughts.

A bullet journal is often described as a meditation tool. Make your entries as colourful and creative as you like.  

What type of paper do your journals contain?

Leaf Street journals contain 160gsm paper, making it the perfect surface for all your doodling, fancy lettering and coloured markers.  The paper is thick enough to ensure the ink will not bleed through to the next page.  Choose from dot-grid or blank pages.

 

KEYBOARDS

What's the difference between wireless and bluetooth?

Our wireless keyboards connect to your device using a small USB receiver.  This receiver plugs into the USB port of your laptop or PC.  As soon as this is plugged in and your keyboard and/or wireless mouse are turned on you will be able to use it wirelessly from up to 10m away.  

If your laptop does not have a USB port (such as MacBook Air, iPad), a USB hub/adapter can be used.  

All the mouse and keyboard combos require only the one receiver so you will not need to use more than 1 USB port while using them together.

A Bluetooth keyboard or mouse connects wirelessly without the need for a USB receiver or cable.  Devices with Bluetooth capability, such as tablets, phones, laptops and PCs can connect instantly to a Bluetooth keyboard or mouse.  Multidevices can connect to up to 3 separate devices at any one time, such as a phone, tablet and laptop at once.

How do I connect my keyboard to my device?

Bluetooth keyboards connect to any Bluetooth enabled device without requiring any cables (this includes iPads, phones, PCs, laptops etc).  

Plug the small receiver/dongle into your USB port and turn your keyboard on.  You will be able to use the keyboard instantly.
